WATCH THE WEBINAR

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Recruitment and retention of international students has never been more of a challenge for higher education institutions, as blended and digital delivery gives cohorts more options than ever to personalise their learning. China poses a unique recruitment proposition for North American universities, with falling numbers of enrolments, China’s recent Personal Information Protection Law, and an increased desire by students to study remotely and asynchronously all creating new strategic challenges.

Sinorbis, in partnership with Times Higher Education, bring together a panel of leaders to exchange knowledge and discuss best practice about how colleges can be proactive in meeting the needs of modern Chinese international students and the requirements of new legislation.

Key learnings include:

- Managing the digital assets needed to effectively engage with Chinese international students

- How to evolve communications with Chinese international students to maximise recruitment, retention and attainment

- The importance of alumni engagement when building communities of Chinese international students online and in-person

- How to adapt and comply with regulators to protect Chinese students’ data

- What data are most helpful when refining recruitment strategies for Chinese international students
